Tony Dize conquista la posición #1 de la cartelera ‘Latin Rhythm Airplay’ de la prestigiosa revista Billboard con su éxito “Prometo Olvidarte”.

Hoy más que nunca ‘La Melodía de la Calle’ paga homenaje a su sobrenombre, dejando que la fuerza de su público hable por él. No ha sido difícil notar la popularidad de esta canción, pues cada semana ascendía múltiples posiciones de radio y orgánicamente hoy reina en la cima. La canción fue lanzada el pasado mes de noviembre y se encuentra disponible en tiendas digitales a nivel mundial.

Desde el primer día, “Prometo Olvidarte” apostaba a convertirse en la canción del momento. Letras profundas acompañadas de la melodía nostálgica de Dize han comprobado ser la combinación del éxito una y otra vez. Igualmente, el video musical continua entre los más populares sobrepasando 2.2 millones de visitas en el canal de YouTube de su disquera, Pina Records. Como si no fuera poco, añadiéndole más al éxito rotundo del cual ya goza Tony Dize con este tema, se encuentra disponible el tema remix “Prometo Olvidarte Remix” con la participación estelar de Yandel. Históricamente sus temas juntos se convierten en éxitos internacionales y esta seguramente no será la excepción.

Simultáneamente, y por octava semana consecutiva, “Prometo Olvidarte” es la canción más popular en su natal Puerto Rico permaneciendo en la posición #1.

Han pasado más de dos años desde que Dize conquistó la posición #1 de Billboard con el súper éxito “El Doctorado”. Tony Feliciano Rivera’, Better known by his stage name Tony Dize, or his other nickname, “La Melodía De La Calle”, is a reggaeton artist born in Boston, Massachusetts of Puerto Rican descent.
His first recorded performance was from the album Blin Blin, Vol. 1, with Wisin & Yandel in 2003, after which he collaborated with other artists of the genre and later released his debut album in 2008 titled La Melodía De La Calle (Spanish for “Street Melody”) under WY Records and Machete Music. He was previously signed to Pina Records, for which he released La Melodía De La Calle: Updated under the label in 2009.
In November 2011 he is in contracting with DJ Memo, to join his record label after a fall out with Raphy Pina. After a fallout with DJ Memo he is now under contract once again with Pina Records.


Musical career

Tony Dize cites Vico C, Tego Calderón, Wisin & Yandel, Tempo, and Ivy Queen, among others as sources of inspiration.[1] He started under the guidance Wisin & Yandel and first appeared on the compilation album Blin Blin, Vol. 1 (2003), with the song “No Pierdas Tiempo”.

Through his short career he has worked with the best DJs of the genre such as Luny Tunes, Naldo, Urba & Monserrate, Notty, and Noriega. He appeared as a guest in the album Pa’l Mundo, in a song with Wisin & Yandel called “Sensación”. The song was a minor hit.

Tony Dize finally broke through with the song “Quizás”, found on the album Los Vaqueros. The song was one of the album’s biggest hits, and made him a force in reggaeton. The official remix of the song features Ken-Y. He was signed to WY Records and his first production, La Melodía De La Calle, was released on April 22, 2008.

Tony Dize participated in a beach festival named “Back to School”, on August 9, 2008.[2]

Tony dize performed at the Cedar Hall on February 2, 2009 in Boston, Massachusetts.In the performance he collaborated with DJs such as DJ Shorty DJ Problem, and DJ Luis Morales.

He was a member of Pina Records, after leaving WY Records over disputes with Wisin. Now in disputes with Raphy Pina (Owner of Pina Records). Leaving the record company. Few years later, eventually letting all the disputes go with Raphy Pina, he’s back in Pina Records.
